Schloss Stern lies in a suburb of Prague. It was built by archduke Ferdinand of Tirol. It is called Stern, because the building has the form of a star (in german: Stern). the czech name is Letohradek Hvezda. In the neigbourhood lies the former battlefield of Bila Hora (the white mountain), here is in 1619 the winterking Frederick of Bohemia (also known as Frederick V of the Pfalz)defeated by Bavarian duke Maximilan for the Habsburg emperor Ferdinand II ------------------derozier I own a wonderful portfolio of the floorplans,blueprints etc. of a place called
